once again...back to the block.

My apologies to those who follow this blog, I have been focused on college for the last few months, as well as my job. I have not had a lot of time to film or blog recently. But I will try to keep up with this a bit more.
No new guns lately or parts. I've been buying music and just got a new, larger external hard drive for my laptop.
I have been working on Airsoftgi's get out and play contest, so my efforts will be focused there for a while. If get the chance to film a video, you will all know pretty quickly. I have a few I have been promising for a while.

Inside the Mechbox

Just got a bunch of internal parts for "Inside the Mechbox" from Airsplat.com. Will be making 3-4 episodes showing the installation of about a dozen parts into the Snow Wolf M82A1. Should be awesome! It will be shooting upwards of 600+ fps by the time I'm done with it.... so stay tuned and enjoy!

Airsoft Hero reviews

I am still working on the reviews for the Smith & Wesson M&P M4 and the co2 metal slide Desert Eagle. Those should be up within the next few days. Hope everyone enjoyed the M14 Socom review! Stay tuned. Got a lot more on the way.

Finally got the reviews for the ICS Sig 551 and Cybergun Kalash ak47 60th anniversary completed and uploaded...that took a while. Been super busy with college and life. Hopefully I will have the UTG L96 new version review up by saturday, as well as have submitted the next two videos to airsplat.com for "Inside the Mechbox."

Just spoke with a rep from Airsofthero.com. Got two guns on the way: the Kalashnikov AK47 60th anniversary edition and the ICS SIG551. Look for the reviews of those in the next few weeks.

Evergreen Airsoft 3-27-2011

Had a good day at Evergreen Airsoft today. Played a few games before I left. I took two guns, the ICS MP5 SD6 which was having feeding issues, and the Ares G36 which was having accuracy issues. I fixed them both right away after I got back, but it gave me the chance to film a game. I just edited it and am currently rendering it. Should be uploaded within the next few hours. Hope everyone enjoys!

New Upcoming Videos

Recently ordered a few items from Airsoftoutletnw.com. Thought I would try some place new...everyone else was out of stock of A&K M249 bearings... Also ordered a set of Bravo motor pins and a CNC aluminum hop up chamber for the G36. I will be making a video of how to install that into and Ares G36.
Frank Cordell (Crazyncman) recently recently shipped me a JG Sig552 to work on. Once I get that put back together and tuned it will be entered into his nation-wide review project. I will, course, be making a video showing my reassembly of the gun.
In some "Inside the Mechbox" news, I will hopefully be receiving a UTG L96, L96 upgrade kit, and an ICS M4 upper gearbox soon from Airsplat. All of those items will be featured in an ITM video sometime within the next few months.

ICS L85 range test

Did not get the second part of the ICS L85 A2 review series filmed, the range test. Was raining all day. Will try to get it filmed in the next few days, assuming the weather cooperates. I already have the third part filmed and prepared, the internal review. Once I get part 2 filmed and edited, I will upload both. In the mean time, I am working on Twitch's birthday present. Can't wait to see the look on his face...

Just got Twitch's birthday present in the other day, started working on it.
Also getting ready to film a few other videos including the range tests and internal review of the ICS L85.

Just got the ICS L85 review posted last night. We were using the new microphone and stand. You can see the mic testing also that was uploaded. Took a bit of work to get it recording correctly. Stay tuned for parts 2 and 3 of the ICS L85 review.

Twitchs ICS L85A2

Twitch just got his ICS L85A, so I will be reviewing it for him saturday and sunday. I will be using the three video system again (external review, range/accuracy test, and internal review) to show off the gun. With luck, it will all be filmed and edited by late sunday/early monday. JG Sig552

I have decided to borrow the JG Sig552 from my teammate Camo. As I stated in my last post, I am considering buying it from him for $150. I will be filming a short review video on its this weekend in order to show off what he has done to it and the internal work I have done to it. I will not be making an internal review or range test for this gun this time, sorry guys. But I will of course test the fps and go into detail about the externals.

Just finished editing both vids for the day. Already uploaded the first, the second it rendering as I type this.
I am considering buying a used JG Sig552 soon. I already have a number of upgrade parts that will work in it. The owner is selling it for it for $150. I tuned it personally, but I just cannot decide whether or not to go for it.

First Entry: Just Getting Started

Hello everyone. I just set up this blog in an attempt to widen the airsofting horizons. I will begin by saying that I have a number of videos that will be posted within the next few weeks on the ASTKilo23 page on Youtube, so be sure to check those out. Twitch ordered the ICS L85a2 the other day. He should get that pretty soon and I will publish the external review, range and accuracy tests, and internal exam as soon as I can. In addition, I will be doing some work on my ICS M4 RIS. I am trying to decide whether or not to go with a full stock so that it will have the classic SR16 look or use the A&K crane stock I have on it right now. It would be nice to be able to use a large type battery, but I am also wanting to install an AWS mosfet as well. Sort of a pain to have a mosfet in a crane stock. Any input my viewers can offer would be very appreciated.
Also, I may be purchasing a JG SIG552 soon from evike.com. They have a few left in their boneward for only $70. I can assume they are either working or slightly broken. Either way, I have numerous parts to fix it with.
